How It Works
Whether intended for use in Sales, Build, Customer Service (or all three!), we recognise that every house builder is different and will require a unique set of video messages tailored for their customers.
Getting Started
Step 1: We spend some time working with you to figure out what you most need out of the app, whether it be maximising appointments and reservations, retaining buyers throughout the build, giving customers a stand out service or just improving on your net zero and health and safety standards.
We then build a bespoke menu of templates (the types of video messages you want your teams to send out to your customers) for your app. The video messages themselves are templated in a corporately designed look and feel, and can include features such as call to action buttons (e.g ‘Call Us', ‘Visit Our Website’), questions (e.g. ‘Would you like to arrange an appointment to view?’), images with links, follow-on videos, and banners to leave Google / Trustpilot reviews, all within the message pages. Each template is designed for a specific purpose within the customer journey. You give us your ideas and we will do all the work - putting them together for your approval.
Step 2: Once the app is set up, you can choose whether you want to trial it in a small area first or roll it out to the whole business. Choosing a region or few developments to start with first is a great way of putting the new video messages to the test, seeing what works best and evolving the app to maximise ROI. With the feedback we receive from your team members and customer responses, we can adjust the templates accordingly, then roll it out across the whole of the group once you are happy to ensure high quality performance and effective results.
Getting your users trained up and confident in recording and sending their videos is handled by our specialist Training Academy, who will visit each site in person (or over an online call if preferred) for a bespoke training session to go through how to use the app, best practices for being on camera, navigating the online dashboard and some on-site role play and recording of library videos.
Step 3: Once the teams are up and running, we will closely monitor and support them with regular reports of usage, good examples and customer responses, to additional online training support sessions and a dedicated management team available to answer any questions and resolve any issues on hand.
Template Creation

Each video message sits within a pre-designed template chosen by you. Templates are styled in your corporate branding, and can include features such as follow-on videos (automatic library videos that play after your message - great for sharing more info about the development / local area), call-to-actions (e.g. ‘Would you like more information?’), imagery (with links to your website) and a pre-set email and text message that goes out with your video.
Depending on which types of messages you require, you can start with our most frequently used templates, or create bespoke ones especially for you.
Sending a Video Message

Our user-friendly app has a menu of the different types of video messages your teams can send to your customers.
Each video message sits within a set template that is designed in your corporate branding and can include images, call-to-actions (e.g. ‘Call us’ / ‘Would you like to arrange a viewing’ e.t.c’), links to webpages and follow-on library videos that play automatically after your personalised video message (great for including pre-existing video content about the development / local area).
To create a video, simply start by selecting which type of video message you wish to send.

Enter the name, mobile number and/or email of the person you are sending your video to, then press record. The app has several recording functions like a ‘3-2-1’ count-in before the recording starts, pause, flash, zoom and front/ back camera access to enable a high quality and seamless finish.
The option to choose a pre-recorded library video at this point instead gives the user a great alternative in times they may be too busy to record at that moment.
Once you’ve recorded/ attached your video, watch it back to make sure you’re happy with it. If not, simply record again!

Press send and your video message will be sent over Wifi or your mobile data network, or you can save and upload later. Once sent, your message will be received as a welcoming text / email message from your company name, with a link to the video message in it.
You will receive a notification once the customer has opened the message, watched your video and responded to any questions. Our security measures prioritise your privacy, ensuring all video messages are GDPR compliant and stored safely and securely in your Movin Technology online portal.
Here, you can access an overview of all messages sent, categorised by user, development, type, date, property and recipient. Additionally, track message read status, view the number of times the videos have been watched, and record feedback ratings and customer responses to CTAs.
